Adult German School

These classes are held at the club. They consist of a 30-session German language course from mid September to mid May, held Thursday evenings from 7:30 - 9:30 P.M. Teachers are excellent and experienced. Three levels of German language are offered: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.

Jagdklub Auerhahn

A group consisting of approximately 20 members meets monthly and makes a yearly excursion in November to northern Maine. Members also sponsor and manage the annual Schützenfest (shooting gallery) at our Sommerfest and Oktoberfest.

German Saturday School Boston

German-American Ladies Society (GALS)

(G.A.L.S.) - A group of approximately 50 members who sponsor two Dinner Dances per year - Bayrischer Abend (Bavarian Night) and Heimat Abend (Homeland Night), a Christmas Bazaar in November and a Children's Christmas party. Annually, the G.A.L.S. award two $500 scholarships to students of German. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.

Skat Club

A group of approximately 25 members meets every second Friday of the month at the Club to play Skat, a German card game similar to Whist. Members also participate annually in competition with other Skat clubs in the Catskills. In 1994, the Skat Club emerged as the winning team. Each January the Skat Club sponsors a Preis Skat open to all Skat players in the local area. Prizes are awarded.

Sangerchor Boston

A mixed chorus of approximately 30 singers of all ages who perform at the Club, churches and outside concerts. Each year, the Sängerchor sponsors three Concert/ Dinner/ Dances and two Christmas concerts. The Sängerchor also performs at an annual competition with other New England German Singing societies. Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening at the Club from 7:300 to 9:30 P.M.

Herrenabend

The Herrenabend or Gentlemen's Evening meets on the third Friday of each month in the club Rathskeller' It begins at approximately 7:30 PM and lasts until closing.
